Jan 28,2012: In recent news, I was nominated in two categories in the 2011 Preditors & Editors Readers Poll. My short story "The Test of Darkness" was nominated, and finished up in 11th place, in the Best Horror Short Story category and Apocalyptic Organ Grinder was nominated in the Sci-Fi Novel category. The second edition of The 7 Habits of Highly Infective People should be available from Permuted Press next month and this same title has been selected by Audible.com to be turned into an audio book. The coming of March will see two new anthologies featuring my work. "Menatal Man" will be appearing in Corrupts Absolutely? and "The Earth Died Screaming" will be published in Read The End First. There are two new anthologies and one new novel (The Dead and Dying)in the Books section as well as a handful of interviews and reviews in Press. With what is probably the biggest news lately, The Google+ Insider's Guide has named me as one of the top 32 authors to follow. March 19,2011: The Book of Horror 2, featuring my short story "I Eat The Dead", is now available. February 25,2011: The Living Dead Press print version of Sex in the Time of Zombies is now available. The print version contains a bonus story, "The Bad Plan", which was not in the free e-book. January 19, 2011: Too long since I've updated this site. So here's some recent news: I've begun talks with Living Dead Press concerning a print edition of Sex in the Time of Zombies, which means that the free version will be going away soon. This, however, will be replaced with Even Dead Men Die the first novella in Undead Nocturne, a free zombie-noir web series featuring Maxwell Lazlow, PI. In novel news, the expanded and revised second edition of The 7 Habits is in the first rounds of editing with Permuted and the e-book version of Shut The Fuck Up And Die! is available on Smashwords. October 18, 2010: The 7 Habits of Highly Infective People has just been picked up by Permuted Press for their 2011 lineup! The second edition will feature an expanded storyline was approximatelt 25,000 words more than the original. I am SO excited to work with a company for whom I've had nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for years now! October 3, 2010: Quite a bit going on. I recently received notification that my short story Revisited will be included in the upcoming anthology Nocturnal Emissions: Things That Go Hump in the Night. Also Hips has been selected as one of the fifteen winners in the first annual Journalstone short story contest and will appear, along with the other winning stories, in an anthology that should be available by Halloween. In other Halloween related news, the Halloween special edition of Fire Mass Zine (featuring my story Every Night is Halloween) will be available this month as well. Finally, my latest novel, The 7 Habits of Highly Infective People received an awesome review on pissedoffgeek.com (please see the Press section to read the full review) September 26,2010: I just received notification that williamtoddrose.com is the latest recipient of the Preditors & Editors' Author's Site of Excellence.
